These bags have a limited shelf life (approximately 1 year). After 4 weeks we advise not to lift the bag, but to remove the bucket with the bag from the toilet and then empty the bag into the compost bin, the GFT container or the residual waste container.

Wood shavings-Hemp fibers are often added to the composting process. It can sometimes be added in the toilet.
We mainly use HEMP fibres, see pack, they absorb much more moisture than wood shavings. It is a good healthy basis for the composting organisms and ensures that the toilet material in the compost bin is processed better and becomes even better quality.
Adding a hand daily is sufficient for the dry toilets. With larger compost toilets such as the Clivus Multrum, we recommend adding a hand after each toilet visit.
Contents of the Hemp Bag: 48L Sufficient for 1-2 months
Hemp is an agricultural crop, no trees are cut down for this fiber. It is of natural origin, no pesticides and no pesticides used.
