This MAXi boat toilet – DRY toilet, urine-separating, is specially made for (sailing) boats. Small and compact, can replace the current flushing toilet on board. Because now only the urine is drained, you can connect this small drain to the sink drain – without pump – and then rinse the urine away while washing your hands, done. This urine-separating dry toilet is specially made for (sailing) boats in Flevoland, the Netherlands. Small and compact, can replace the current flush toilet on board (It could also be built into campers because it is so small. Have you ever: – had a pump failure or even a broken pump? Or pipes clogged or frozen? or – possibly a leak at the inlet or outlet? Then this MAXi Boat Toilet – dry toilet is the SOLUTION! No pump, no water, no drain needed, no chance of freezing (if no water is used) It was developed in response to the new legislation that regulates that the toilet drain must be sealed and that a solution must be had on board for toilet waste. This could be an extensive large wastewater treatment plant or a ‘small’ dry toilet such as the MAXi Boat – dry toilet. Reason: the open water of lakes and rivers has proven to be of poor swimming water quality over the past 20 years, despite the introduction of the wastewater tank and pumping installations in the harbor. Only 1% of the sailing boats discharge the waste water in the prescribed manner. Therefore, from 1/1/2023, discharges will no longer be permitted. MAXi boat toilet – Dry toilet has the following advantages; * MAXimum water savings, Dry toilet * MAXimum collection of toilet material, * MAXimum energy savings, no electric pumps * No more clogged pumps due to dried-up paper or other things It is urine-separating and catches feces and PAPER IN a large bucket in the TOILET where it is dried. Urine can be collected in a urine tank or pumped. Thanks to built-in ventilation 12/230V, the toilet and toilet room always remain fresh. With a dry toilet, you can always go to the toilet on board, for small and large errands! When used by 2 people, the bucket will only be full after 1-2 weeks of sailing, with mainly paper. because that too is collected in the toilet and no longer separately. Simply put the lid on (closed) and empty the contents into the waste container together with the normal waste after your trip or holiday. After the trip, clean and empty the toilet as usual and unplug it, no power consumption. Wood shavings-Hemp fibers are often added to the composting process. It can sometimes be added in the toilet.
We mainly use HEMP fibres, see pack, they absorb much more moisture than wood shavings. It is a good healthy basis for the composting organisms and ensures that the toilet material in the compost bin is processed better and becomes even better quality.
Adding a hand daily is sufficient for the dry toilets. With larger compost toilets such as the Clivus Multrum, we recommend adding a hand after each toilet visit.

Dit hangt sterk af wat voor droogtoilet u neemt. Maar dit kan verschillen tussen 1x in de week tot aan 1x per maand.
Dit is zeker mogelijk maar er zijn natuurlijk uitzonderingen. Het is altijd even handig de maten op te nemen om toch te controleren.
Er zijn niet echt speciale onderhoudsvereisten. Maar wij geven toch altijd wel aan om het schoon te maken met biologische schoonmaak middelen.
Het verschilt per toilet. Vaak in het neerzetten vast zetten en ventilatie koppelen en u kunt het gebruiken. Bij andere moet je iets meer handelingen doen.
